We are delighted to announce a special study skills presentation for our pre-IB and Diploma Programme students, led by an exceptional member of our own community!

Douglas An, an IB graduate from the Class of May 2025 who achieved 40/45 in his IB studies, returned to campus as a presenter for Lanterna Education, a leading provider of support for IB students.

His presentation focused on equipping our years 10,11,12 students with the essential tools for success in the rigorous DP. Key topics included:

• Effective Study Skills: Strategies for deep learning and retention.
• Time and Deadline Management: Practical advice on structuring the two-year programme and handling multiple deadlines (Internal Assessments, Extended Essay, etc.).
• Acing the Diploma Programme: Insider tips and personal insights from a high-achieving former student.
• Managing Stress: Techniques for maintaining a healthy work-life balance and coping with the pressures of the IB.

Students gained valuable, real-world perspectives on navigating the IB journey, learning directly from someone who has successfully completed the programme. We thank Douglas for sharing his experience and expertise.
