As part of the school's DofE programme, students from years 9, 10 and 11 participated in a series of team building and communication exercises.
These exercises aimed to develop essential skills for the upcoming Adventure Journeys in May and June, as well as building team comradery.
The exercises were led by Rachel from Rachel's Outdoor Learning Centre, based in Chiavasso, Piedmonte. Whilst the exercises appeared simple, to begin with (for example having to keep multiple bags simultaneously), they tested our students' problem-solving capabilities and abilities to communicate and work as a team.
Alongside this, Rachel ran a question and answer session for our Silver participants. This will be EISP's first year running the SIlver Expedition and we are incredibly proud of our students who have worked independently to fulfil key aspects of the award thus far.
