TOMUN

Last week, a group of Year 11 and Year 12 students had the opportunity to participate in the TOMUN Model United Nations conference held in Torino. Students had the unique chance to step into the shoes of world leaders, tackling real-world problems through effective negotiation and communication. Representing a range of countries and committees at the TOMUN, our students debated pressing global issues, such as humanitarian assistance, terrorism, sustainability, and biotechnology. Throughout the conference, they demonstrated impressive diplomatic skills, critical thinking, and teamwork. In addition, TOMUN was also an empowering experience on a personal level as students stepped out of their comfort zones to engage in public speaking and collaborate with peers from different schools.

We are particularly proud to announce that several of our students were recognized for their outstanding performances, receiving Best First Time Delegate Awards in the Environmental and ECOSOC Committees, and the Best Delegate in the FAO Committee.

Congratulations to all our participants for their hard work and dedication. We look forward to seeing more students joining our Model UN Club and participating in MUN conferences.
