After two years of hard work, the IB Visual Arts students finally reached the most important event of the course - Tints & Tones: Art Exhibition.
The students together with their teacher Ms. Joanne Rodriguez lead the opening of the event at the top floor of EISP in the Music Studio. After some inspiring speeches and remarks from the students and their teacher, the space was opened for visitors.
The exhibition was organised to give the graduating IB Art students an opportunity to present their works to friends, family, teachers, and the community and was a part of the final grading process for the course. Each student’s work was grouped together in a display, and their progress as students was apparent. Some of the artworks, which included painting, installation, mixed media and interactive pieces were enjoyed by the viewers. The exhibition also gave incoming IB Art students a chance to see what is expected of them in the following years. Altogether it was a very rewarding experience for all involved.
