The school space contributes in creating a full and versatile environment, capable of meeting the needs of a varied school community.
The School is organised in two parts: the first building hosts the Nursery/Infant and the Elementary Schools whilst the second hosts the Middle and High Schools.
The structure contains two gyms, both supplied with technical equipment and volleyball/basketball courts. There is the possibility to do outdoor sporting activities due to having a 5-a-side football pitch and an athletics track. Various sporting activities can also be set up in the green area that connects the two buildings.
Science, physics, chemistry and ICT (including tablets, computers and a large indoor Wi-Fi network) labs are available to help the students explore and experience the subjects studied in class.
EISP also provides classrooms with projectors/interactive whiteboards, music, art rooms and playrooms to assist the children’s learning.
The school has five libraries and a reading room, provided with English fiction/nonfiction books and newspapers; as well as a library dedicated to nurturing reading development in Italian. Furthermore, Secondary students have the possibility to consult Questia; an online library which includes approximately 78,000 digital texts and 7 million articles.
Two canteens prepare lunch on a daily basis for students and staff using fresh and seasonal ingredients. The menu, carefully planned and created in collaboration with the Dietician from the ULSS office in Padua, varies from an autumn/winter to a spring/summer one. The school also caters and prepares individual menus for children with allergies or intolerance to certain food types/group, providing a medical certificate is provided.
