Starting from Monday 14th March the children will be involved in a variety of activities focusing on Italy, in order to celebrate our annual Italian Week in school.
This year the whole school theme is food, with the children given the opportunity to learn about a specific region and in particular the foods produced in the relevant region. Each class will be focusing on a different region, therefore your child may be asked to buy foods related to the region to share in school – no homemade products; culminating on the Thursday with classes having guided tours of the miniature food market of the different regions created by the children.
On Friday 18th March the children may also wear clothing either matching the colours of the Italian flag or something that is representative of Italy.
