From the 5th to the 9th of March EISP celebrated its first ever Creative Arts Week. It was a very busy week with lots of fun and creative activities happening around the school.
We had guest visitors who taught us African Drumming, how to create affresco, demonstrations from Padovarte and even a Baroque orchestra! As well as workshops from our visitors, we had workshops from our own teachers which included drama, collage, Chinese mask making and rock band. We also had our own 'Glee Club' who did a successful singathon during lunchtime which raised money for charity and a whole school art competition for both staff and students.
The atmosphere in the school was very calming, with students performing for us in the morning as we entered the building. We also had lunchtime recitals from our IGCSE music students and a drama performance of the opening scene from 'Into the Woods'.
We are already looking forward to our next Creative Arts Week! Well done to all those involved.
