The mayor of Padova, Sergio Giordani, gave the children of Padova the opportunity to take part in a wonderful project giving them a much-needed time for reflection in regards to the pandemic.
The teachers guided the children to reflect on their own feelings and also on the work of the medical staff who have dedicated so much time and energy into caring for people in the city.
The teachers also helped the children focus on the idea of hope and having confidence in the future that awaits them.
The children put a lot of thought into the picture they produced which would be a gift to the medical staff. Their work reflected their gratitude, their love and their hope for the future.
