A book should not be judged by its cover.
A Blind Date with a Book. From Monday 13th to Friday 17th February this stimulating event was held in the secondary school library.
This year the books were differentiated according to age and reading level. In particular, those with a green question mark on the cover were selected for the Middle School students, those with with an orange one for High School students and those with a purple for EAL students.
The event was a precious opportunity for the students to step out of their comfort zone and learn something about themselves in terms of open mindedness, curiosity, and being risk takers. Finally, a short questionnaire was included to learn about the students' reading preferences. Readers love sharing their opinions and we love hearing them.
