Today we went to the Botanical Gardens on our school trip!
First we walked through the beautiful plants and trees, past the ponds and lakes to the huge workshop.
We listened carefully to the lady explain what we were going to do. She told us that we would be planting our very own sunflowers!
First, we put some soil in our biodegradable cups. Then we planted our seeds. After that we sprayed them lightly with water.
The best part was...we got to bring our little seeds home to look after them and help them grow!
We had a wonderful day at the Botanical Gardens.
