This year's Summer Exhibition is a first for The English International School of Padua. Coordinated by the Art teacher the exhibition is a collaboration of work between Nursery, Primary, Middle and High school staff & students.
Staff from all areas of the schools were asked to develop a piece of Art work with their students on the theme "Birds, Wings and Flying Things". The inspiration for the name came from the school logo which mimics the wings of a butterfly. Teachers were asked to be as experimental as possible with materials to help create an exciting range of works from the different year groups.
The exhibition will also feature works from the Year 6 and 7 photography club, the IGCSE end of year slideshow, the IB fairy-tale sculptures, the house drawing competition, pieces of artwork by teachers and a live poetry reading from students who entered this years house day poetry slam.
