A child who reads will be an adult who thinks
This important initiative:
- promotes reading for children of all ages and encourages their interest in different genres.
- aids the independent skills in children by enabling them to visit the book fair with their teachers and make the "right choices" regarding their book purchases.
- gives the children first-hand experience of dealing with a public figure visiting the school, promoting interpersonal and communication skills.
- offers the children the possibilty of linking mathematics in a cross-curricula experience by being responsible for spending money in a real life contest.
The book fair will be held in the Assembly Room situated on the second floor of the Primary School and will be open from 8:15 until 17:00 each day.
