The reception trip to the Insect museum was incredible. The children were all beautifully behaved. We were shown all sorts of insects such as spiders, butterflies, stick insects and praying mantises - the man showing us around even took lots of the animals and insects out of their habitats so that we could see them more closely.
The children were also allowed to touch and hold some insects such as cockroaches and hedgehogs which caused a huge amount of excitement especially when the cockroaches hissed at us!
The whole trip was a great success and the children have been talking about it ever since!
